Superheros

Well, I have made it to week 34!  In a nutshell -- I am large, uncomfortable, and tired.  My stomach is all messed up these days since it has been completely squished by the growing baby.  I am happy to only have 6 more weeks to go although I know it will only continue to get worse as she grows bigger and bigger.

My husband has been my superhero lately.  He has been so amazingly sweet and supportive that sometimes it just makes me cry (I am sure some of that is driven by hormones as well).  He puts my socks on my feet when I just can't do it, he tucks me and my gazillion pillows in at night and make sure I am comfortable (well, as comfortable as can be), and he has made me delicious dinners lately so when I get home I don't have to do anything but prop up my already swollen feet.

We had our birthing class over the weekend and he kept rubbing my shoulders and telling me how I am going to do great and how he is going to help in any way he can.  The on Sunday we had our maternity pictures and he was being such a goober and having so much fun.  I just can't put into words how much he has helped me lately and how loving he has been towards me.  Every night he lays on my belly and talks to her and sings to her and tells her how much he loves her.  It just melts my heart.  I am very fortunate.

In other news -- we have a growth scan with the MFM on Friday!  I can't wait to see how big she has gotten.  According to all the websites she should already be about 5lbs!  No wonder I feel so huge!

Then Saturday we have our baby shower with our law school friends.  It is a superhero theme for our little superhero.  It should be a lot of fun.

Anyways, that is all I know for today.
