33 down, 7 to go

We have made it to 33 weeks!  I cannot believe this baby will be here sometime in the next 7 weeks (maybe 8 if she decides to be late). 


Life and work have been SO incredibly busy lately.  It has been good in that time is just flying by, but I am definitely getting buried under it all. 


We have our "32 week" appointment tomorrow and will do our preadmission with the hospital afterwards.  Then my appointments will pick up every two weeks until my 36 week appointment when we will start going once a week!  SO CRAZY! 


We also have our child birth class this Saturday and our maternity pictures on Sunday.  The next Friday we have a growth scan with the MFM at 8:30am and my husband's office baby shower at 12 pm.  Then next Saturday we have our baby shower with our law school friends!  So many exciting things coming up! 


I haven't done one of these in a while so here it is . . .


Baby Is The Size Of Durian Fruit (DH says they are sharp and stinky -- ha ha)

 

How far along: 33w3d (that is a lot of 3's, lol)   

Physical symptoms: All. The. Symptoms.  My back and hips hurts.  I am big enough that I am waddling.  Sleeping has been harder and harder the bigger and bigger I get.  I have been nauseous these last few days I think because I am so freaking constipated.  Anyways, that was more than I am sure you were hoping for, but I am definitely getting more miserable.     

Total Weight Gain/Loss:      

Maternity clothes: Absolutely!        

Stretch marks: NONE!  There is still time, but so far I haven't had any.  

Sleep: Not great.  I finally got some sleep this weekend using wrist braces for the carpal tunnel syndrome that was causing me lots of pain.  But I still pee about 4 times a night.       

Best moment last couple of weeks.  Hmmmmm....Probably just spending lots of quality time with DH.  we have been doing fun day trips on the weekends and having date nights and really trying to spend some fun time during our last few weeks as just husband and wife.          

Movement: All. The. Time.  Her new thing is kicking me in the ribs.  That HURTS!      

Food cravings: Nothing really new.  The cravings have kind of subsided the last few weeks.    

Gender: It's a GIRL!  Baby Madison. 

Labor signs: Nope.  I am thankful for each day without them.      

Belly button: Same as always.

What I miss: Being pain-free.  I ache constantly these days.         

What I am looking forward to: The next few weeks -- maternity pictures, showers, classes, etc.

Milestones: We are in the single digit week countdown to baby!  AH!
