Eviction Day Set

I am officially 10 days from my EDD!  AH!  Getting so close! 

OB appointment went well yesterday.  Cervix is still thinning and softening like it is supposed to but no dilating yet.  Next appointment is Monday afternoon. 

The OB also gave up the option of scheduling an induction on 12/1/14 if she hasn't come on her own by then.  He said that he offers this to his IF and high risk patients because they tend to find some comfort in knowing that the doctor who has been with them the whole time will be the one to deliver the baby.  And it would give us some predictability -- we would know DH would be in town, we could prepare, etc.  Also, since we know when she was conceived we are sure she would be a full 40 weeks by then rather than a normal fertile whose EDD is only accurate plus or minus 2 weeks!  So inducing at 40 weeks could be more like 38 weeks.  We don't have that fear. 

My in laws are OBs and we discussed it with them and they didn't have any reservations about it which really helped me feel better. 

So, baby Madison's eviction date has been set!  If she is not here on her own by a week from Monday, December 1, we will help her along!

I think she will show up on her own over Thanksgiving, but I guess we will see.  Either way, I am actually feeling really good about having a set end date! 

I CANNOT believe she will be here in less than two weeks!  I am both elated and petrified all at the same time.  I keep having strange dreams about labor and delivery.  But I cannot wait to meet this LO we have waited so long for!  <3
