So close to V-Day!

I have not forgotten I have a blog -- honestly.  Life has just seemed to suck up all the hours in the day lately. 

Today is 23weeks 4 days!  That means V-day is so close I can taste it!  Woo hoo!  I know there is still so much that could still go wrong, but I am trying really hard not to think about it and focus on the positive. 

We made serious progress on the nursery over the weekend.  We put together the crib and the glider!  This weekend we are tackling the dresser and changing table topper.  I also got the frames for our Africa pictures this week and hope to hang those over the weekend too!  I like to just sit in the room and rock in the glider.  It is calming. 

I was super sick all last week so I pretty much ate nothing but soup and crackers and rested.  Now that I am feeling better I have been hitting the gym again and it feels good.  I have been to zumba 4 days in a row and I am feeling it today.  But, I always feel better after a good sweat session. 

Little girl moves all the time and I can feel her constantly.  I think DH finally felt her last night.  He talks to her every night and fills her in on what happened that day.  It is so sweet.  She kicked me hard enough last night that is woke me up.  And she loves to zumba along with me.  I can feel her move and jump while I am at zumba.  My instructor thinks it is hilarious.

This is the nursery furniture that we have put together so far.  Her bedding hasn't come in yet so I just put a blanket that someone gave us with it to see how it looks.
