30 Weeks!

So I really am a terrible blogger these days.  I have no real excuses.  

We made it to 30 weeks though!  Something about there being a 3 in front of the number now makes it seem so real.  We are almost into the single digits for weeks left.  There is a really good chance that there will be a baby in our house soon.  I am always mindful that there are still things that could wrong, even at 30 weeks, but it is definitely getting more and more likely that there will be a baby -- a real little squish.  

I am definitely feeling her getting bigger and bigger.  My back is starting to really hurt from the weight distribution.  Sleep is getting harder and harder and moving is tough.  Zumba has become near impossible -- I am still going and trying to get some exercise, but I am sure I look like a beached whale trying to dance.  

Friday night I was up ALL NIGHT (like woke up at 12:30am and never went back to sleep) with the worst heartburn of my life.  It was so bad I was vomiting and couldn't lay down without serious pain.  

In good news, my first baby shower is next weekend.  It is just small get together with my family and some out of town friends, but I am looking forward to getting to see everyone!  

I have a new obsession with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches so I have been eating lots of them.  :)  

Baby girl kicks all the time.  When she really wants to do summersaults you can see my stomach moving and grooving.  It is crazy!  

Overall, I have been very blessed that this pregnancy has (so far) been relatively smooth.  Baby girl is growing perfectly (we had a great growth scan last week) and I am growing right along with her.  My OB and MFM are both pleased with how we are both growing and developing.  FX things keep going well and baby girl and I have an uneventful remaining 10 weeks!
