2013 In Review

Well once again I have fallen behind and become an inattentive blogger.  However, in my defense, nothing new has really been happening.  AF came as expected once I stopped bcps and now DH and I are just trying for EOD and having some fun. 

I know.  FUN!?!? Trying to get KU?!  That is almost unheard of in the IF world, but seriously.  I am not temping, using OPKs or anything else this cycle.  Doesn't seem worth stressing over until know if I even ovulate on my own or not. 

Since my TTC life has been relatively unblogworthy (I might have made up that word), I decided to take a look back at some of the GOOD things that happened to us in 2013. 

Although I am ready for 2014, 2013 hasn't been a bad year for us. DH has excelled at his new job.

 

I have lost 35 lbs since I started this journey on September 9, 2013.  Here are some of my "before" and "after" pictures.  The first picture was the first day of my program.  The second is at 20 lbs lighter when I finished my program.  And the third is now, 35 lbs lighter. 

 

 

In 2013, I found my confidence and self worth again which has been HUGE.  I have learned that just because I am not pregnant, and may never be pregnant, doesn't mean I am any less of a person than people with 10 kids. 

We had a wonderful Christmas just me, DH, and the pups.  Just the way I wanted it. 

 

And I got a fabulous new purse from DH  for Christmas which I am SO freaking excited about. 

 

 

So.....overall, 2013 wasn't a bad year.  Despite all of the IF struggles. 

 

I hope anyone who is reading this has had some magical things happen in 2013 and will have all of their dreams come true in 2014.
