Between the burping, farting, and bloat I wasn't sure I could feel much more unattractive. Not so fast -- my face and chest have broken out. The vomiting and extreme nausea has commenced -- let me tell you how attractive that is. Oh and my favorite are the strange pains I am getting in my crotch which I am sure are from ligaments and other things stretching.
In the end, even if I wanted to engage in some sexy time with DH, my boobs hurt so bad I feel like I might punch him just for breathing near them. So, that pretty much puts a damper on that.
The good news is, I find the symptoms to be comforting. I am in that weird limbo land between my RE and my OB so I haven't seen the baby is 2 weeks now! I feel like the symptoms are the baby's way of letting me know that s/he is still in there are growing strong.
I can feel a knot where the baby is now. It is a hard little place in my stomach. That is kind of cool. I am going to get a fetal Doppler this week and try to heart the heart beat at home. I know they say it can be hard until they are 12 - 13 weeks but I will be 12 weeks on Saturday so I am going to give it a try. :)
I have been terrible about updating this blog but really nothing has been going on since the last ultrasound. But . . . here is the update on week 11.

ReplyDeleteThanks. I cannot believe it either. It has gone by so fast.
DeleteHaha! Yes, pregnancy makes you pretty gross :-) I've heard a lot of women also have issues with peeing their pants a little so umm, work on those kegels. So glad everything is going well! (PS: I think girl too. Not sure why)
ReplyDeleteNOOOOOOOO! Ugh. Now I will add kegels to my list of exercises to do.
DeleteThanks for the warning, Chickin. <3
