All Triggered Up

I had another monitoring appointment on Monday.  After Friday's incredibly frustrating appointment I didn't have my hopes up too high.  Luckily I was presently surprised with a 17mm and a 16mm follie both on my right side.  My left side had nothing measurable -- as usual. 

I was pretty excited to see I had follies that were almost matured! 

My left ovary's continued reluctance to do ANYTHING stumped my RE.  He said that is the side where I had the most issues with endometriosis so he is wondering if there wasn't some damage to that side.  Who knows.  In the end it is a good thing the right side is the one that responded because the left tube is the one that was blocked. 

So the instructions were to do one more night of 150 IU of follistim then go back to my RE's office Tuesday afternoon for the trigger shot.  And that is what I did.  As of 1 pm yesterday I am all triggered up and ready to go. 

Now time to HIO!  Woo hoo! 

Last night was funny because our hot water heater broke and the plumbers could not fix it until today.  So my husband decided he was going to take a cold shower.  I teased him all night that that is exactly the opposite of what he was supposed to be doing.  Cold shower or not though, we got the job done. 

I obviously decided against a cold shower -- I can't even imagine how miserable that would be.  I HATE being cold.
