Monitoring Delayed and New Meal Plan

So last night we received about half an inch of freezing rain, followed by half an inch of sleet followed by about 3 inches of snow.  So, my monitoring appt was cancelled this morning and rescheduled for tomorrow at 10 am.  I guess I will just keep waiting.

On an exciting note -- when I started stims last Monday, I also started a new VERY high protein, low carb meal plan that my trainer gave me to help me through the exercise restrictions.  Well one week after being on the new meal plan I have lost 6 lbs already!  I am excited.





I am ALWAYS amazed at how important diet is to weight loss.  You can workout all day but if you aren't eating right you will never have the same results.  So despite my week without cardio and only weights, I am one big step closer to my ultimate goal. 

I think it really has helped me keep my mind off cycling too.  It has given me something else to focus on.

  1. Congrats on the weight loss! High protein/low carb is also supposed to be good for fertility (or so I've read). I hope your appointment goes well today!!
